I seem to have a memory of Alli nutmegging Toni Kroos in a friendly last summer, was it him or someone else? Anyway, the small bit's I saw of Alli last summer impressed me so if any of the young lads can step up like that it would be great!!!
Modric I remember he did him twice??

It may have been Luka, in my head I was thinking Luka Toni but he doesn't play for Madrid... My next thought was it was Toni Kroos or maybe Modric can't bloody remember done far too much to damage my memory since last summer.

Couple of not so great passes from Miller already in this game, 1-0 to Juve, bit of an early lesson for the young boys.

Never mind, gary stevens just replied to a joke i made about his thailand trip,so took the edge off the battering we are getting ATM..
Its a no relevance game,a good learning for the kids regardless, especially the HT team talk!!

Be a good experience for them regardless, plus we (and Poch) will learn something about the lads for sure. This Dybala is a good player though.

Not the best first half. Better after the 25th minute but nothing special. Hope to see a better second half from the lads. Miller needs to stop the wasteful passing, and would be nice to see a bit more service provided to Jansen.

I'd be happy to see both Edwards and Onomah get more game time this season. Especially in the domestic cups.

A much improved second half, could have got the equaliser late on but wasn't to be. think the young defenders will have learned a lot today after a shaky start they grew into the game and the attacking players that were bought on later looked lively I was especially impressed with the attitude, drive, and touch of Edwards.

After a poor start the kids were ok,and at the end we were the more likely. Not sure about the miles travelled for such a game though, guess with the new stadium we can expect tours for a couple of summers now.??

I imagine you're right with regards to pre season friendlies being away from home, more likely tours in asia and america after doing Oz this summer.

Guess if there hadnt been the euros it would have been more of a 1st team element to the tour, wonder if Poch made a point by not taking 8 def first teamers regards the timing and the journey time?I understand tours are commercially neccesary?,but poch is more interested in the team than brand management.I would think (like dortmund away) when the ticket buying public saw the line up today they would have been disappointed.

Oh well friday is the next match with athletico, same time, different result I hope.

I think the only point he made really was that players in the euro's needed a rest, but then he took Lamela who'd been at the copa america with argentina.... I'm sure the people who bought tickets would have been aware that it was never going to be a full strength team from either side, but at Dortmund away they would have expected something stronger.

They were all pokers until Ramos got hold of them, I think BMJ used to give them too many sweets. I seem to remember KPB was a tubby little chappy?

Thudd obviously was prone to an ounce or two too much and Mido was the World pie eating champion, Wilson was a tad lardy as well.

Not sure there'll be much time between now and the demolition for renting it out. Maybe in the new stadium.

With regards to the game yesterday, I thought Onomah and Winks looked liked they cared, Carroll and Chadli are definite non runners for me, Edwards looks like he's got a bit about him and obviously needs more at this level to settle in. The defence was very inexperienced and up against a decent Juve side it looked like lambs to the slaughter. Much more positive second half though. Still can't see the need to go all that way for this other than to make a few ££££.

In some respects onomah, winks, edwards did enough to suggest that mason, bentaleb, carroll will get in their way?Only one game but also chadli&Son didnt impress,Lamela did, yedlin looked ok and Harrisson got a chance. Not all bad but 3 kids in defence against Juve was always a big ask.
We were there for the PR and money, not sure how the PR worked out with a whole 1st XI not attending,
