Back on topic:

Deki’s quotes from after the game, playing as a striker.

"It was different, of course it's different.
The second half I went back to the midfield where I had much more space and we dominated the game. It was a really good game and I feel very good but I'm not happy we couldn't win the game but we move on and keep our head up."

For me, he has looked our most consistent footballer pre-season and in our first 3 games. He has energy to burn and can link the play well. Although not the quickest, he has good skill to best players. I actually think he may be better in the number 10 role over Maddison currently.

Yes Deki had a good second half

The Celtic players adapted to and adopted Ange's style of play pretty quick it seems. He won the title in his first season and a cup.
At Spurs it doesn't seem to have been so easy. I wonder why and what made Levy think he could repeat the success he had while at Celtic.

It’s an easier league, Celtic only really need to play well twice a season to guarantee a title. A friend of mine is a Hearts fan, they basically ignore Celtic and Rangers in that league. 3rd place to them is the championship!! Such is the difference in quality. Celtic are still playing extremely well under Rogers, even Nuno could win up there!!

I think the stats are showing this season, we are adapting and outperforming most teams on the various stats available. What we are not doing is taking chances due to not having a fit striker for the last 2 games.

Look at Arteta over the road. He finished 8th, 8th, 5th, 2nd, 2nd. He is now in his 6th year and has 1 FA cup to show for it.

Managers need time, especially with the rebuild we are going through at the moment.

Why would a manager from an easier league background nearing 60 years old be a success in the toughest league in football? It doesn't add up, Ange hasn't got time.

Well he’s had about a year and got rid of some players and brought others in so we should know more by Xmas

Yes, pressing intensity is all well and good, and doing it in such a way that you actually end up with the ball is even better, but PL players are pretty good at stopping you from doing anything with it once you've got it. And it's really hard to immediately switch to defending every time you lose the ball, ESPECIALLY when nine times out of ten it just gets booted back to you. It's than 10% that doesn't where it gets tricky.

We'll keep getting better. As will our opponents but this will be fun sometimes. Hoping the 15th is one of those times.

Don't forget the old "Death cough " poor Ange has too...

At 59, and with an occasional cough, and having previously managed in the SPL, he really has no chance of success or even staying alive.

Sure fuck it. He's done.

More chance of staying alive in the Prem than living in Australia.

It's not an occasional cough. I think he is done , in fact was never at a level good enough for us. I bet he can't believe his luck, one big payday when he's past it.

Well we’re good at pay offs

I wonder what the grand total we paid to Jose, Conte, Nuno, Poch and Tim was?
