They're cunts. They know how to get your attention anyway...
Yes. Ultimately on me though. Here I am, a critical, cynical, skeptical old bastard, thinking “oooh, Harry might come back to win trophies???”

The young lad who back-heeled him the ball looks promising. :(
:( Such a waste.

There’s a video doing the rounds of Kane in the stands last night after being subbed looking absolutely gutted and I did feel sorry for him.

When you look at Bayern's success over the last 12 years when they've won the league title every year at least, Kane obviously must have felt it was stitched on for his first domestic winner's medal.

How must he be feeling now after he signs, scores 44 goals, delivers 12 assists and Bayern still don't win a single thing ?

Maybe he should sign for Celtic ?

I do feel a bit sorry for him, but he signed for the club for the wrong reason.

More money, better lifestyle for him and his family, more chances to win a trophy, not having to live in Brexitania and relocating to a grown-up country, not having Levy as his boss - all seem like pretty good reasons to me.

The thing is, it wouldn’t be shocking if he wins a trophy this summer. Which he could’ve done without leaving. Either way it’s hard to see Bayern going through an extended trophyless run. I say Godspeed to him, but I also think our season would’ve been much better than it has been (and it’s not been bad) if he’d stayed.

I don't feel sorry for him. He should've signed for Man City that season when he almost did. No one would've blamed him and he would've been bigger than Haaland. Either City or Real Madrid was always the right move. No point going to Munich unless they can win the CL.

What a fucking goal that is...

For me lads he is right up there with the best we've had... I'm talking Modders, Berbatov, Bale, King levels... Yep, I said King...!
One of my favourite goals against the scum, another one was that Bentley cracker, he only scored two goals for us but that one was worth every penny of the £15m we paid for him.

Even if Harry doesn't win a trophy with Bayern he'll enjoy living there, his kids will love it and unless they develop 'expat syndrome' and start pining for Ingerlish shit they'll have a great life. I fucking hate 'expats', I'm an immigrant not an expat, what the fuck is that bollocks about? Dictionary says 'An expatriate (often shortened to expat) is a person who temporarily resides outside their country of citizenship', ah ha, 'temporarily' that's the key, fuck that for a juego de soldados, I'm fucking staying here.

Word seems to be that Kane has a rather unique release clause in his contract with Bayern.

Apparently it can only be activated in the winter transfer window and was active in January where he could have returned to England for a minimum fee of £67m.

It re-activates next January where the fee is meant to be £54m. We would still have to formally activate the release clause with a bid of £54m though and he'd also have to want to come home.

If another club activates it, we would have the option to match it.

He's also said to be "extremely happy" in Germany as well.

That's quite interesting.
Thanks for sharing.

Despite his goalscoring prowess, does he still suit our system?
Harry no longer presses from the front.
Would Ange adapt to suit Harry?

That is interesting, and not surprising that we’d have the right to match. Sadly, I think that ship has sailed. Saying that, I don’t see him returning to play for another English club either.

Kane signed a 4 year deal in 2023 so if you think about it, he'd only have 18 months left in January 2025 and he'd be 33 in 2025 as well so any new deal would very likely be his last.

Considering he'd probably need just two good seasons back in the Premier League to become the all time top goalscorer, I'd like to think he'd at least have the itch to come back.

And if Ange is still with us, it would be fascinating to see if he'd adapt. If he's in a position where the club are going to sign one of the greatest goalscorers of his generation, and a club legend to boot, is he going to compromise basically his entire ethos to accomodate him ?

We should have never sold him in the first place, he would have signed a new deal under Ange.

The deal made no sense to a club like ours.

But Ange was here & Harry played under him all pre-season, yet he still wanted to leave.
As Ange always says, he only wants players that really want to be here.
