Just thought it was interesting Spidey did not initially respond.
Not having a go at him.

Question: If you are the best at your job yet the company that employs you has no ambition & does not give you & those around you the tools to succeed, what would you do?
What if YOU were the problem?
Bottled all the big 'jobs' your company gave you, then when YOU left, the company did something it hadn't for over 40 years and 250,000 took to the streets to celebrate.

You think Kane being snide and going on strike was ok, I don't at all. However, it's all worked out well for both parties in the end.

Apologies, I don't live on the internet.

More like your opinion based on what big media tells you to think.
Kane tried to get a snidey move - fact, not opinion.
Kane refused to train when Levy said do one - fact, not opinion.

Perhaps you should stick to posting that ITK bollox you love so much. 🤪

If you don't like the ITK, don't read it. Keep it up, USspur!

You remind me of this phrase...

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.
And you are starting to remind me of this one...

Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Before this turns into more of a shower of a thread than it already is, none of this hypothetical shit matters. if (and its a huge if) Kane is available and wanted to come back, I suspect we'd be very interested.

Not saying loyalty doesn't matter, because it would definitely make me feel better about it, but the squad needs a prolific goalscorer, not a Golden Retriever.

Here's a thought experiment. If we could have the Lewandowski of, say, five years ago right now, would you want him?

Similar goal-scoring rate, similar physical profile (i.e. can't play every minute). Similar financial hit, similar lack of development potential.

But, no history, no emotional damage. Thumbs up or thumbs down?

Yeah... But... Myself id prefer Kane... I enjoyed how he played here.. and I think Kane is a better passer/assist assassin... Also I think Kane hates Arsenal more... The way I see it, if Kane was willing to come back,... I'd pitch in money to get him back, perhaps even get Sonny back on that weird time when the MLS is off

No thought required on this one for me

I have been told we must wish him nothing but the worst. He's a meanie and left us to go abroad (for a record fee for a british player and a player over 30 years old) to continue his career after (allegedly) going on strike (though he publicly stated he didn't) to get a move but then continuing to be great for us on match day when it actually mattered.

He was brilliant against Chelsea last night IMO

My eyes tell me he is a different type of player, a special one where his sheer ability doesn't mean he has to be quick (he isn't particularly) or strong (he is reasonable),to do things other players don't even consider.

He's not in that Raul or Lineker absolute goal merchant (although he fucking is) poacher category and neither is he in that top echelon beast mode Ronaldo/Messi GOAT category. He is firmly his own man as equally comfortable tapping it in from 2 yards as well as banging a free kick from 30 in top bins. He can also see and pass as well as almost any midfielder out there and those two abilities combined mean he is more than the sum of his parts and a truly generational great.
