I am really trying to accept him,and new season,how he came across in the documentary and all,but fuck for me it took 30mins of the game.

Missed the match, but from what I read & heard, it was a listless performance.

I had given Jose the benefit of the doubt as I want Spurs to succeed. He wasn't my first choice but he's won wherever he's gone. My concerns are many & diverse given his past

Yes it is only one game but it is more than that. It is the first game of a new season. The first game of Jose's potential first full season. We should be flying out of the gate with our sails filled with enthusiasm (at the least). Yet to come out so flat & uninspired? No sense of urgency & seemingly going through the motions? This was also evident in the 2nd half of last season. Some of those games we won despite the insipid performance, but other times we didn't which magnified the issues. I don't see an improvement in our play but more importantly, I don't see the players really caring to improve under these circumstances.

The alarm bells are ringing for me.

I was thinking about this earlier today. Who will we hire when Jose is canned or 'leaves by mutual consent'? The current trend earlier is a player and what better player to lead us than the legend that is ledley. I would have him.
