Passes Allowed Per Defensive Action.
It's calculated by dividing the number of passes allowed by the defending team by the total number of defensive actions. Some of these metrics... ...what are the defensive actions?
Challenges (successful or otherwise),passes cut out, fouls, etc. So if your PPDA is very high, you're not putting much pressure on the ball

So we are essentially killing it amongst the Top 5 leagues according to this metric yet we sit 10th in the Prem.
I sense that we will be more purposeful in our possession & start converting our chances from turnovers.

Our XG is also 10th. Which tracks with what we see--struggling at times to create chances, especially against Newcastle and Arsenal.

Lol, that was hilarious from Haaland. Starting to like him Though City were completely worked by the scum. They deserved nothing form that match.

I always hark back to what Ibra said about Pep's Barcelona team: they were the masters of the tactical foul in transition, but got their knickers in a knot anytime anyone had the audacity to kick them. Pep's teams still do this. Wonderful football, but the artistry is alloyed with baser elements.

Nothing wrong with that, but the holier-than-thou attitude rubs me up the wrong way. I like being tops in all those categories even if we can't lead the one that matters. We might get there yet, but I like how we're doing it.

If Pep and City think that shits bad against Arsenal, wait till they see the Conference League North…

Bruno Fernandes will be available for Manchester United’s next three games following a successful claim of wrongful dismissal.

The midfielder was sent off for serious foul play during the Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, 29 September.
Fernandes was set to miss our league fixtures against Aston Villa, Brentford and West Ham but will now be available for selection following the successful appeal.

xPTS table provides statistical support for what many of us (and Ange) assert, i.e. that our position in the table is not indicative of our performance on the pitch, and that with more clinical finishing we would be in a much better position.

Hopefully, our position will cat-up to our expected position, and not vice versa :)

For those unfamiliar, xPTS refers to expected points, which are calculated by running simulations based on each game's xG (expected goals) and xGA (expected goals against) statistics. These simulations estimate the likelihood of different match outcomes—win, draw, or loss—based on the quality of chances created and conceded.
