Apparently they may ease the lockdown here 4th May,small shops,cafes,restaurants opening.Not sure if they will scrap the permits needed for going out,hope so,even with the right stuff you feel a bit paranoid.There is talk smaller hotels can open mid june and a possible july-sept tourist season with talk of a health passport needed,no idea how that would work??

Was talking the other day to a mate of mine who's a paramedic. Not much, because he didn't really want to talk about watching people die and taking the body to the morgue. But he did make a point of mentioning the fact that yeah, okay, he knew the job was inherently dangerous when he took it on. But the poor sots in the grocery store didn't. The delivery guys didn't. The pimply teenager at the corner store didn't. And they're not being lauded to the heavens, they're getting abuse for doing their jobs.
