Tottenham have quite frankly been a disgrace during this difficult time. Royally fucked off by it all.
Yeah, sadly if there’s anything a crisis is good for, it’s revealing true character.

For fuck's fucking sake! There is a crowdfunding page set up to say thank you to the worst PM this country has seen - and I am including Theresa fucking May. He has done too little, too late, NHS staff are dying because he didn't take the virus seriously enough at the start and have no fucking PPE, the stats are a fucking joke because only people actually diagnosed and dying in hospital are counted in the horrendous death toll, the restrictions are pathetic, Plod being nice to people and asking them to respect the guidelines when all the other countries in Europe are taking it seriously and coming down hard on offenders - we have a Police roadblock at the entrance of our very small village and anybody who is out for a jolly or going to their second home is getting busted. The deaths here are really high, Spaniels are very huggy and kissy and February/early March were almost tropical so all the fiestas and social stuff were going strong, but, the feds took the fucker seriously and things are improving. The UK is nowhere near the 'peak' and thanks to the incompetence and spinning of that lardy cunt of a PM you lot are possibly going to see the same or higher death rates we have had.

The crowdfunding page has raised over £800 to buy the lying cunt a pair of cufflinks! I am happy for him and his family that he is getting better, I am not a total cunt, but to say 'thank you' to the cunt whose lying and self-interested politics has totally fucked the UK is a fucking joke,

MPs getting an extra £10,000 tax-free expenses, on top of the £26,500 text free office expenses they already get, for working at home to buy their staff laptops and pay for increased utility costs. Teachers have to work from home and must pay for their extra expenses out of taxed income and pay the fucking VAT.

Here in Ireland, we've been looking over in disbelief at the casual way Johnson treated this virus, The restrictions were implemented far later than ours. I'm not in any way political and as a rule I cant stand most politicians, but Varadkar and Harris have been very quick to move from day one. Was it arrogance from Johnson ? A bit of complacency ? Or he is just plain foolish ? Regardless, we can only hope that we can get back to some sort of normality in the coming months, assuming the ignorant morons heading off to their holiday homes for the weekend cop on and turn back!

'New hope': Queen reassures nation in first Easter message.

That's nice, now how about handing over some of the Royal family's £80bn wealth, donating one of your spare palaces for people recovering from Corona virus and the vast lumps of land for people to be able to exercise safely?

In view of supporter sentiment regarding the scheme, it is now not our intention to make use of the current CJRS that runs until the end of May. We shall consult with stakeholders, including the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust with whom we have been in dialogue over the past week and who share our desire to protect jobs, should circumstances change going forward.

Daniel Levy, Chairman: “The criticism the Club has received over the last week has been felt all the more keenly because of our track record of good works and our huge sense of responsibility to care for those that rely on us, particularly locally.

“It was never our intent, as custodians, to do anything other than put measures in place to protect jobs whilst the Club sought to continue to operate in a self-sufficient manner during uncertain times.

“We regret any concern caused during an anxious time and hope the work our supporters will see us doing in the coming weeks, as our stadium takes on a whole new purpose, will make them proud of their Club.”

Shameful they hung on for so long.I saw a reported the money in question saved was about £1.25m,not sure if thats a month?but in the grand scheme of a business making £60m-£110m profit per annum, the bad PR surely will have hurt us more.

I would assume that "saving" would have been for the 3 month furlough period.

I'm calling it first... wait for redundancies for non playing staff when we go back to football as a way to improve profitability.

I'm so angry with a megalomaniac prick I dont even fuxking care about the football. I'm left with a snarl on my boat whenever I think about it, it fucking repulses me.

That's what I don't get. This was so stupid and out of touch. It's kind of like ticket prices--so much bad will over something that is not that significant a source of revenue for the club.

Greedy is what greedy does!

I really think Levy is that deluded about customer loyalty, its like a drug dealer thinking his punters cant do without him,yes I am an addict but there is always someone else selling for me to give my money to besides Levy.I have seen 100s and 100s on social media finally had it up to here with the ownership.I will always follow the club,I wont always give someone like Levy my money. The fact the club had to dig down into the 60k on the waiting list to sell season tickets to,its not a bottomless pit of mugs ready to throw money into a speculators pot.I think the damage Levy has done to his and the clubs standing is almost unrepairable.

Yep I agree, the greedy bald cunt has to go now for me to have any chance of starting to enjoy what this club should be offering.

We know that he megga bucks once in a lifetime payoff for his and Uncle Joe's investments are well and truly fucked now though, as the CL, manager and team package is completely down the swanny...

I'd say that if the league does get voided and we amazingly luckily get our CL status back he should sell the club over the summer. Realistically he would have to spunk 200 mill to make this team capable of challenging for silverware and that is 200 mill is a gamble which he is more than likely never going to recoup.

New owners would need to also spend that 200 mill though... but the potential of our club is still astronomical if the right personnel are brought in.

Are you fucking serious?

Jesus, Aussie politicians are bad but that's deplorable. As bad as our guys are, they are all donating this year's mandated payrise to charity. And a few of them have been out donating blood.

Your guys are taking the cash? Cunts be cunts I guess.

Brexit - the gift that keeps on poisoning, the fucking retards who think plucky little Britain is much bette of isolated and making it's own way can fuck off, fuck off so fucking far, then fuck off again.

The lying facist cunts of the so-called government just keep lying about PPE, spinning every question, ignoring the unnecessary extra deaths and getting away with it because the fucking retard voters are too fucking stupid, xenophobic and selfish to open their stupid little minds. The EU meanwhile have collectively sourced £1.3bn of equipment, because retards, together is better, bigger is better, united we stand divided we fall and all that shit.

Politics during a crisis? Yeah, the politicians are fucking this up and are directly responsible for more deaths than there should be. If a fucking revolution doesn't happen when this shit is over then there is no hope.

An independant parliamentary authority has simply given the green light for up 10k of extra expenses to be claimed... IF NECESSARY.

This is to deal with the immensly increased caseloads all MP's will now be dealing with due to Corona virus...

MP's didnt ask or vote for this extra portion of the allowance, they were given it to ensure they could provide their constituents with support throughout the crisis.

It's a 10k uplift of the cap on expenses if they should need is to provide things like IT so their staff can work and support people from home...

Let's say they have 20 staff who usually work out of an office but no longer can. They buy them all a laptop, mobile phone and webcam.... how much is left?

For my money it's common sense to allow this extra expense if necessary, in order to ensure goverment at a national and local level continues...

Lets remember not to jump to conclusions because someone on the internet shouts loudest...

I thought that too, but some of the conspiracy horse shit floating about and disinformation is utterly ridiculous...

People love to get in a real froth about shit and ignore facts that dont suit their agenda...

Fear is the biggest commodity going and people love to buy it...

Nah, fuck off with that, I'm jumping to conclusions because they are mostly thieving crooks who have been busted so many times for expenses fraud and got away with it for saying they made a 'mistake'. I will allow for a few honest, decent politicians, but the evidence of past transgressions means I can generalise and call them all cunts. So many of them have second jobs, sit on boards, go off to the fucking jungle to be voted out, go on panel shows, jolly off on jollies, sit on Parliamentary committees - giving any of them any extra money would grate on my thrupnies. If their 20 staff don't have mobile phones, laptops etc. then how do they do their jobs presently? If they have 20 staff then why are they (mostly) incompetent? Ministers probably have 20 staff, but I am absolutely sure they don't pay them out of their £26,500 office expenses, they are probably civil servants and paid political cronies.

I have to laugh at this bit of your post - sorry : 'to ensure government at a national and local level continues...'

I used to be all legit, but been ducking&diving the last decade.Cant complain if I dont get a handout,I`ve hidden from the system for so long.I am fine, still got a stash of yer actual cash left from last year, owed a bit for work this winter on the villa&house I oversee,I dont even need to ask them to pay me yet.And I am into the last year of my mortgage,so technically I am just retiring a year ahead of schedule,I already planned to stop gigging this year, amazed I have managed to keep it together so long!I love music,I also like playing live, but I certainly wont miss giving it a rest.I can always go back to it if I miss it,I can earn earn enough just faffing about. Its all about low overheads,no borrowing and not being consumeristic about the latest gear.
For the record I never do hotels,( I only did one about 4 years ago,the owner sent a minion over to tell me "more ballards, more ballards",so I played metallica the unforgiven,I made my point showing I wont be told!!needless to say I didnt play there long= I prefer a shitty bar or club where I may earn less but can choose what to do without whoring myself, where people are happy to hear pearl jam and not hi ho silver lining or fucking beatles!!
Its families with early stages of borrowing, kids, large outgoings I worry about,I cant imagine how stressful it is when others are dependant on someone providing. The hidden suffering after this will be people with mental health issues, workers with PTSD who will have seen people, probably many die.I count myself as lucky with the timing of this in my life.

I sincerely hope everyone on here is able to deal with this crisis in everyway and come out the otherside.

I get it but surely every single staffer has a mobile phone and a laptop already?

10K is a rort mate and it will be exploited.

Everyone is being forced to work from home. We aren't all being offered up 10K for additional expenses.
