Klopp or Glasner would be great, but this side is still mid-table. That part isn't Frank's fault.

I believe that there is more to this side than mid-table. Possibly 5 - 7. If that is considered mid-table, then I agree with you.Klopp or Glasner would be great, but this side is still mid-table. That part isn't Frank's fault.
I'm not familiar with where this comes from. You guys may see more of the local press about Klopp than us over on the other side of the world. Just believe that he has the character & status in the upper echelon that will give us even more clout within the footballing pyramid.imagine the smell....
He's been in TV ads here in the States. Other than Beckham, Pulisic and obviously Messi, you don't see that here. So yeah, he's definitely cashed in.Klopp will never manage at club level again, certainly not in England.
He is 58 years old and worth £42 million. He never needs to work again

I got the impression a few months ago that he was bored with the Red Bull office job & wanted to be more involved in the day-to-day preparation of games. He missed it.
With the fortune Klopp has accumulated you’d have thought he’d have paid proper money for those veneers. His chompers look like they were done by the work experience kid.
Those Trivago ads crack me up.![]()
If they're his words, he seems somewhat resigned to the fact... If I was a chairman prepping a January transfer window and I heard my clubs manager talking like this, I wouldn't be looking to spend much cash at all... In fact, I'd be tapping up my next gaffer right fucking now, getting something solid from them about their intent and the players they want in the squad and going all out to prove that I'm going to back them with players and transfer cash...
The word that caught my eye was "intent" b/c gauging by what I've seen thus far, & I believe TF's tenure has amounted to 31 matches, I have little idea of what he intends to do with this side.If they're his words, he seems somewhat resigned to the fact... In my realistic opinion, Glasner. So who is that Manager
Sorry pal, and I'm not just being a prickly old cunt that's trying to piss on your chips, I genuinely appreciate your post, and I know where the sentiment comes from...The way many of us view this is that THFC has to recommit to a clearly defined footballing identity. Our DNA has been referenced many times encompassing proactive, front foot football that's brave, intelligent & creative.
We need to ensure that this identity is owned by the club, not borrowed by individual managers.
This vision has to originate at board level & flow seamlessly through sporting directors, recruitment, coaching staff, & the academy.
We need to codify a 'Tottenham Way'.
One in which players are encouraged to express themselves within a structured system. Recruitment should prioritize a profile fit as much as talent where players are not only chosen for ability but also for playing in an expansive, high tempo style. The Academy must mirror the first team both in its tactical & philosophical approach so that youth players graduate already fluent in the system rather than having to adapt upon arrival.
In terms of managers & coaches, we need to select those that naturally align with this ID, not managers who's philosophies require wholesale reinvention every cycle. For instance, we've recently appointed managers such as Nuno, Mourinho, Conte, & I'll include Frank, who are directly polar opposites to the team ethos. With Ange, it was in the right direction but quite evident that the pendulum swung way too far to be effective in the Prem.
I understand that those named above were from the Levy era but I really hope that this new regime up in the luxury box understands this so that Tottenham can finally turn this historic flair into something of a sustainable, competitive advantage as opposed to just being a nostalgic ideal.
And this is the point really. But that, again, is probably down to money spent and spent wisely.
I will say: We're obviously a very long way from competing for league titles but I don't think we're miles off having a team that can compete for domestic cups and play good football. But as we all know the reality of the game right now is that it doesn't seem sustainable for any club to challenge at the top of the table regularly without massive investment. There will always be short periods like us under Poch or maybe Villa under Emery but those can't last. And this is the point really...We've never really been shy and spending over the odds on players..Sanchez, Solanke, Richarlison, ...but never great on wages. And that is and always was our achilles heel over the years because we had a chairman that refused point blank to break a wage structure. That HAS to change now.
We were the side that played attractive football and occasionally won a cup.
The only time in the last 60 years we were mentioned in terms of a title was the lack of investment to the Poch Squad.
Another chairman would've made sure we got 2 good players in over Jan to help us chase down Leicester...but it didnt happen.
So as you said @J.spurs if we want to play good football and compete at the top we need to spend £200/250m every window for the next 3 windows just to look at CL possibilities again because we're so far off that at the moment, it's scary.
The question is...Do we give those type of funds to Frank ? Orrrrr do we get in touch with Poch,..get a contract signed for 3 years...give him the funds and hope he can deliver ?
I'm old school though...I want great football and an occasional FA Cup, not like a boring grind out results side by winning 50% of our games 0-1 and finish 3rd.
We've a very long road ahead..we need to realise that.
