Sad news, hope the lad gets the help he needs, no doubt he'll be in good hands. Although one of the most frustrating to watch, on his day he was a joy to watch.
Can only hope the lad gets better asap. I did wonder why he'd disappeared from football recently, this will be it. Hope to see him back on the pitch for someone soon. Maybe a move to Leeds would suit him, get close to home and family again.

Wonder what happened to the lad, always had a lot of time for Azza thought he was a decent player. Never know if it's on the pitch issues, or something behind the scenes. Hope he bounces right back though.

True, but do we really give a fuck what Sky or any other media outlet say about us? I've got used to numptyism from 'big club' fans and have always enjoyed meeting a fellow Spurs fan in my travels, it didn't happen very often as everyone and his dog would be wearing United or Arsenal shirts because the media had hyped them up. It has always been one of my great joys in life to have a chat with a plastic fan and ask them what they thought of things that were total bollocks about 'their' club, most of them couldn't name any of 'their' squad , except the big names. My recent favourite was asking a local 'Arsenal fan' who wears the shirts and bangs on about what a goon he is in the local pub, how many time he gets to Highbury each season and he honestly did not know that they had moved!

Nah, fuck what the media say, I enjoy it even more when we prove them wrong and actually duff over their beloved 'big clubs', do we really want all these new fans that will descend on us when the media realise we actually are a 'big club'? Probably, because some of them will become proper Yids, most won't and will fuck off as soon as we lose a couple of games, but I suppose that's OK because 1 new proper Spurs fans is worth a million plastic United fans.

Opinions no,but its a constant undermining of the club or pundits like alan smith saying "i hate to say this but spurs are good",they are paid to do a job, gary neville, carragher, souness are fairly unbiased analytical about it all,but some just have no right to be paid to talk total bollox.
The agenda on sunday was negatively biased on an historic day for spurs, finished 2nd first time since Bill Nic,we had just wiped the floor with 6th place man utd,we have an amazing new stadium, once again we have champions league, but all they said was who is going to leave spurs,or spurs must now pay dele alli this, have to keep poch, where was the flip side of the great tottenham season.Who may we sign now because of CL,wembley,NWHL move or to play for the best upcoming manager in world football, who can we afford now we have CL money again,or spin it around who out of arse, united, liverpool will lose players and be unable to sign top players because they are not in CL or even close to winning the league.Fuck that Poch is wanted by Inter, hows about klopp, pep, wenger, jose have flopped (unless he pulls off europa league and flukes a good season) and this time next year are sacked if its the same, cos thats a bigger reality. And why the fuck arent they slamming the total non football from jose´s man utd,is nobody watching how fucking boring and shit they are,and thats been all season not just sunday.

So i say sack wright, dixon, smith, nicholas, merson, now cos arsenal are no longer relevant and lets get in robbo, micky h,ledley, bilko and see how they like it!

Quote of the week by the man himself let alone media - I would have been sacked by a big club...Pep Guardiola.

Ha ha Man City....you've been around for about 5 minutes, bought only limited success considering your outlay and welcomed Pep at considerable price to a league with more than 2 decent teams. Pathetic.

Klopp no European football either ha ha

United the great entertainers....really?how much cash have you forked out? Do your fans like Mourinho football??

Cristiano Ronaldo broke Jimmy Greaves' 46-year European scoring record as Real Madrid moved within a point of their first Spanish title since 2012.

Ronaldo, 31, fired Madrid ahead with his 367th goal in one of Europe's top-five leagues, eclipsing the mark set by former England striker Greaves in 1971.

Ronaldo slotted in a second and, after John Guidetti gave 10-man Celta hope, Karim Benzema and Toni Kroos sealed it.

366Jimmy Greaves (Chelsea, AC Milan, Tottenham, West Ham)
365 Gerd Muller (Bayern Munich)
346 Lionel Messi (Barcelona)
317 Steve Bloomer (Derby, Middlesbrough)
310 Dixie Dean (Tranmere, Everton, Notts County)

Yeah but mots of Ronnies goals have come in that Mickey Mouse League, not the premier League.

FAKE NEWS! If you look at Ronaldo's MPG (Minutes Per Goal) in the Premier League Top Strikers Table , which I have of course, he was pony in a 'proper' league! 84 goals in 14,506 minutes, 173 MPG? Bollocks that is! He is lower than Torres in the Premier League MPG table. Compare him to Harry Kane, 71 goals in 8,956 minutes, an MPG of 121 and you can see how crap he is, if you do maffs stuff with Harry's figures and pretend in your brain he had played for the same number of Premiership minutes as the Orange One, Harry would have got 121 goals, not the pathetic 84 the Tantrummy One got.

How many goals would Harry get playing in that Mickey Mouse foreign league? No! Don't even think about it. Wipe that from your brain and don't mention it to HK, OK? It's kippers and custard comparing La Liga with the Premier League (or the first division as it was known when Sir Jimmy played).

Congrats to Steve Perryman, DoF at Exeter City, they qualified for the play off last night 6-5 on aggregate with a goal in injury time against Carlisle United. They will play Blackpool in the final, who beat Luton by the same margin.

Spurs can boast the youngest average starting XI in the league at 25 years and 298 days, ahead of manager Mauricio Pochettino's former club Southampton (26 years and 169 days). (BBC sport)

Spurs had four players in the squad who were involved in 20 or more league goals this season, no other side has two players who could boast of such a contribution.

So many troops chipping in helped Mauricio Pochettino's side to a goal difference of +60, a record for any side who did not lift the trophy.

What would they have mustered had Harry Kane not missed eight games in the league? His mark of five hat-tricks in the season puts him among stellar company as only Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo can match the mark in any of Europe's top five leagues.

Kieran Trippier has been called into the England squad for the first time, along with Kyle Walker, Eric Dier, Dele Alli and Harry Kane. If Danny Rose had been fit that would have been 6 players from Spurs.

We're 6th in the table, I expect the new deal has performance related bonus' , TV appearances, merchandise sales, etc etc related bonu's as well as having gone up to about £20m a season? It will be interesting to see what happens at Arsenal and the drop after the the top 6 is also dramatic.
