Shame really, could have done really well here if he'd listened to Poch and worked hard, perfect understudy to Dembele potentially.
Had all the ingredients for it didn't he @Don Diaz. There may be a glimmer of hope that he could realise he's cocking things up for himself and knuckle down but then Poch doesn't seem to go back on players once they've crossed him. I got the feeling he could be like a Kevin Prince Boateng, plenty of talent but not the right kind of attitude to succeed at the very top. Let's just hope we can get good money for him.

His brother is his agent I think, which won't help him, since his brother is probably earning a fortune for doing fuck all. He needs proper independent help and advice. otherwise he will end up as Adel Taarbat type figure.

Manchester United duo Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis Depay will not be selected while their futures remain unresolved, manager Jose Mourinho says.

"I will allow both of them to leave - if the right offer comes. Until this moment, no," said Mourinho.

Pikeys are desperate to sign anyone, such a badly run club.

Really hope they get relegated this season, would love to see them try and fill that stadium in the championship

Two more examples of United having more money than sense.....they are in a minority of about 5 with City, RM, Barca, Chelsea of where you can just generally go out and buy success, it doesn't have to be earned or planned. That's why I have no time or respect for these teams.

On the plus side Leicester won last year and Spurs may well do this, so it's possible very occasionally to buck the system through good management.....but what have they all done about last years kicking....? Yep just gone and spent more money on managers and players. United have three players earning more than £245,000 a week, A WEEK, Rooney who can't get in the team anymore, Pogba who cost £90+m in addition and Ibrahimovic. That's over £10m a year I won't earn that in my lifetime.

West Ham are like the last drunk bloke in a nightclub, staggering around desperate to take anyone home regardless of the rejections.

According to some reports, they are planning some humanitarian work.
In preparation for relegation, they will be offering the stadium as a homeless shelter. But only on game days.

I thought that was always the case.

Where's Dier or is he your 'floater' and can play any of three positions?

I take your point about Dembele, but Schneiderlin isn't a replacement for someone as strong as Mousa that makes driving runs from midfield at the opposition defence and is very difficult to shake off the ball - that's a different type of player and I'd subscribe to that.
I don't think there is a like for like for him... he is so strong and so skillful it's baffling how he moves how he does considering he is a fucking lump.

Wanyama is as strong but no where near as skillful on the ball.

I'd say that if you want to replace him you pick that type of player who can stand up a man and beat him and be able to distribute the ball in an intelligent way and sacrefice the strength.

That would in essence make us a little weaker physically but with Wanyama or Sisoko in the side and Dier also flitting about I don't think we'd have too many teams bothering us.

I don't k ow what type of players are out there who fit that mould but a Debrunye type player seems like the fit.

Waste of time trying to think of a player to replace a like for like Dembele as that player does not exist. Best off looking for an alternative type of player that offers a different skill set. I think Winks can be that man as he offers natural composure, see's what's goings on around him even before he gets the ball, creates room for himself. Seeing him play for us this season reminds me of the same composure that Dele demonstrated pre and early season last year. Not quite as cocky as Alli but the same comfortabley on the ball.

was there no PL football to report?? oh wait....
All a bit premature and clickbait-ish,I think new stadium is a massive incentive for no one to move anywhere till after 2019 imo.

TBH I do have a slight concern over Dele,he has that naughty edgyness, and we went down this road with gazza,if he knows what is good for himself he will continue to let poch mentor him and stay amongst friends, the amount of advertising he is doing outside spurs, wag girlfiend model I hope he keeps his head,it cannot be easy being 20 and a multi millionaire from nothing so quickly. If he does 1st season in NWHL he will still be early 20s,plenty of time to do the ego trip to spain.
I see in months we have gone from 25m,to 40m and today 70m fees to RM,barca or wherever,I think he will be over 100m if this keeps on til end of the season, ridiculous as he is still a prospect albeit a mighty good one.How much will turn his or levys head?
Media are just complete wind up merchants, hope he doesnt get his head screwed by em.

That's the thing though I guess; who can ignore the lights of playing in a pub league for Real or Barca? It's ridicules when you think aboot it but, that's the way it's viewed in the football world. It's like they are retiring in the sun, winning eight nil every week while collecting £100,000.000 per annum for doing so.

What a lot of old bollocks, I just had a very quick look through the Internet to see who Real Madrid were rumoured to want:

Galvan
Weigl
Dybala
Aubameyang
Courtois
Papastathopoulos
Vidal
Dele
Isak
Silva (Andre)
Ozil
Dembele (Ousmane)
Martins
Aguero
Hernandez

There might be a tug of war over Dele but if he ain't for sale then they will just be tugging each other off. I am not even remotely bothered by this non-news. Dele has a contract until 2022, so if Levy was daft enough to listen to offers then the price should be at least £250m.

Of course Real Madrid and Barcelona want Dele, who wouldn't? I want an Aston Martin and an weekend away with Rachel Riley(don't tell Mrs Dorset!). All this talk of a transfer race and a tug of war is just so called journalists filling the spaces in the Internet.

Personally I think we are living in very different times than when we sold Luka and Gareth, there is a credible project in place now, Joe and Danny know that Mauricio could actually succeed, I don't think anyone ever really believed that Harry or AVB were going to become legends at the Lane, and I don't think the players though that way either.

I hope you're right mate! Let's see what happens. Real Madrid are currently serving a transfer ban so they can't sign anyone during the current transfer window. That is where this story has come from I reckon. Barcelona can sign players this January therefore, are in the position to bid for Dele Alli without having a counter bidding war from Madrid.

Real Madrid wanted him but Levy told them to fuck off.

I hope he's happy with the move and does well, he should be good as he's been there before and they seem to like him, so they'll make sure bullies are not horrible to him. I keep forgetting he's 24 he looks about 12 years old! Good luck little Tommy.

I feel like it came down to Carroll vs Winks, Tom had a lot of game time last year and obviously didn't shine enough....Winks I think has certainly been more impressive this year than Tom was last. If he moves I wish him every success.

I'd be more concerned about Poch from a supporters point of view as think he's irreplaceable, obviously Alli isn't gonna be easy to replace either but to be honest I can't see either happening this summer or before.

....Daily Star, Sunday. That's says enough for me, it's a cheap unsubstantiated story and an easy one to write after we've just beaten Chelsea.... they are both hot property right now but you could write the same headline about Conte or Klopp, Costa or Aguero or whomever leading player you choose. Why don't they just fuck off and find some properly researched story to write like a decent newspaper or a decent journalist would.

Mauricio Pochettino has explained why he will never become Barcelona manager.

Pochettino was appointed Tottenham boss in summer 2014 after impressing in the Premier League with Southampton, and he has turned the north Londoners into genuine title contenders.

They sit third in the Premier League table after 20 games, with Pochettino looking to establish them as one of the country’s leading clubs.

The Argentinean has earned a reputation as one of the continent’s leading coaches as a result, with Real Madrid and Barcelona linked in recent weeks.

Pochettino leaving Tottenham for one of Spanish football’s giants was one of our ten predictions for 2017, but the 44-year-old has ruled out joining Barcelona in the future.

Speaking to the BBC after the 2-0 FA Cup victory over Aston Villa, Pochettino was asked of the Catalan club’s reported interest in him.

He replied that he was “born with a bull in his arm” – a reference to his history with bitter rivals Espanyol, for whom he played before becoming their manager

Morgan Schneiderlin, 27, has been told he can leave Manchester United

West Brom submitted a £13m bid for Schneiderlin which was firmly rejected by United.
So let me get this crystal clear....it is perfectly ok for WBA to submit a low bid for another unsettled player but it is not ok for us to do the same for Bera???
