So let me get this crystal clear....it is perfectly ok for WBA to submit a low bid for another unsettled player but it is not ok for us to do the same for Bera???
You're right of course, but I think Jeremy Peace the chairman at the time has subsequently sold the club.

Oh no, another battle by 'big clubs' to sign our players, there must be tugs of war and battles going on all over the place. There are also races, Roma lead 'race' to sign N'Koudou, I can't be fucked posting the link for that bullshit, you can find it if you really want. Add in Atletico wanting Toby to complete the bunch of bollocks.

Stan Collymore is a cunt, an even bigger cunt than Lawro,

Some total cunt says Dele should toddle off, nobody cares cos he is a cunt (Collymore not Dele)

I'm getting a bit tired of this shit to be honest. We all know that good young players are desirable, and that we have many of them. But do any of these piss poor papers really expect us to believe that Levy and Poch, having spent 3 years working to get a squad playing as well as they are together are just going to sell everyone and let it fall to bits? no they are not and they also need to sell, naming rights, as many packages, season tickets, hospitality boxes and premium seats in a new 61,000 stadium over the next 18 months. They will need Kane, Dele, Rose, and others to do this and keep us challenging at the top of the league.

As long as levy pays everyone 'reasonable' wages I think they are theoretically 'signed up' for the next 3 years, based on the their recent contract extensions. If we haven't won anything significant in that time, I think they and maybe even Poch would go and it would be hard to criticise them for it?

My hope of course is that we will win lots of things and thus start building a Sir Alex Ferguson style dynasty here at Spurs. Speaking personally, with the exception of the early eighties I have never known a feeling like we have at the club at the moment, it's brilliant.

This shit is beneath our contempt. I quit getting annoyed by it during the Bale saga.

In the Telegraph about the Rose Walker tug of war:

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is highly unlikely to sanction a move for one let alone both players this month but could be persuaded to sell one of the defenders come the summer.

Do fucking what? What do they base this on? I 'could' be accepted for astronaut training and fly a NASA mission to Mars, one of my tunes could become the next pop sensation and rachel Riley would be begging to be my girlfriend cos I was a big pop star. Levy can not be 'persuaded' to do anything he doesn't want to.

Don't think we'll be linked with too many. Maybe a few strikers including JD but loads of ours will be linked to the money clubs.

Hope we consider all their offers until the end of the window and then issue a statement of "fuck off you bellends no one wants to leave" with an hour to go.

Everton have agreed a £10.4m fee with Standard Liege for Algeria forward Ishak Belfodil and the player is expected to leave the Belgian club's warm weather camp in Spain and travel to Merseyside today for a medical.

Koeman seems to be getting players he wants in this month. Let's see if they can make the difference for him this season though.

Everton are already too far behind to make the EL and they're out of the Cup, what's the point. Revamp the squad in the Summer at more cost effective prices.

Yeah I saw that on the BBC Football gossip thing. He's obviously fed up of having had a brilliant Euro's to go back to those muppets and be surrounded by useless footballers. He's 29 I think and could command a decent contract, probably too old for us and don't think he'd buy into the group, team, work, ethic?

I do wonder if he'd want to change to suit the system but then I think if you present a player with a potential title challenge surely they'd run an extra yArd or two and do a bit of pressing. His ability on the ball is undeniably good but as you say the question mark will be his off ball contribution to the team. If he's available at the right price I'd be willing to take a punt on him though as there aren't gonna be many players become available this month who genuinely have the ability to improve our squad but I feel he would.

Well if he ticked all the boxes such as fitness, training, team mentality etc. and was priced at about £20m then maybe as Eriksen's understudy lol, it's a lot of money to pay for someone to take corners and freekicks.....no I'm joking, great player last season and in the Euro's, needs a new club and spark to get back going this year. I think we'll give him a miss.

Slaven Bilic has confirmed the Frenchman is refusing to play for the club and won’t be involved this weekend.

Apparently, the pikeys are going to fine him £250k for refusing to play. Why would we want someone who refuses to play for his club? He signed a contract last year and while I can understand him wanting to leave, refusing to play for the club that pays him £125,000 per week is taking the piss, put in a transfer request and carry on playing to the best of your ability like a grown up not a petulant little child..

Nope. Don't want him ta.

These are all good points but many a player stop playing for their clubs when they want out these days and whist it does most certainly bother that he has done that, I also feel a move to Spurs (if it was to happen) would pick him right up and get him well up for the prem again. I've heard he would prefer a move back to France so might not be at all possible anyway but should he end up here I'm sure he'd give his all and want to actually try to win something rather than piss about in mid table like at the Spammers.

Good player but at 29 and some questioning his work ethic, plus his £125k I don't think either Pochettino or Levy would go for it.

If he is also refusing to play, then he is a twat, but as its West Ham, good! Did he not sign a new contract on thee summer?

Agree 100%. Although the reaction from their fans if we did get him would almost be worth the 125K
