I'd want..
A top quality defensive midfielder
A dominant keeper
Eze and Toney.

Vicario has been great up until recently. He's now being targeted and I worry about him for next season.

Let's see what Levy gives Ange to play with but I think we need to spend £150/200m to really get ourselves up there next season.

2006!

God damn. I'm old.
Haha, Mikey Moore was born in 2007 and has two first team appearances, one against Man City. Then there's Lamine Yemal, who is pretty much the same age.

Aside from me feeling ancient, I sometimes think this trend of playing 16 and 17 year olds is probably not the best thing.

I have no issue with Werner but another season on loan smacks of us trying to save money and having no plans to integrate the likes of Mikey Moore or Jamie Donley into the squad.

Man United, Chelsea and Tottenham are all chasing Birmingham City sensation Menzi Mazwi, sources have told Football Insider.

The 18-year-old attacking midfielder is out of contract this summer and – despite being yet to feature for the first team – is highly rated both within the club and externally.

Birmingham City have offered the teenager a three-year professional deal, but Mazwi has yet to decide where he will commit his future.

The player’s potential availability has alerted the Premier League trio of United, Chelsea and Tottenham, who would be keen to pick the talented youngster up for a compensation fee that could be as low as £300,000.

There is interest from abroad as well, with Bundesliga duo Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig also in the frame.

A move outside of the UK would reduce Mazwi’s cost even further.

"Tottenham are still looking at additional options in the winger position and in the striker position. There will still be other movement in offensive positions for Tottenham"

At the time I said Gil was no replacement for Lamela and I got slated for not giving Gil a chance. Another poor bit of transfer business.

Erik was derided by many Spurs fans but I loved his passion & commitment to the club. While with us, I believe many under estimated his skills & value to the club.
Mate, one thing that lad did every time he pulled on a Lillywhite, was run his fucking bollocks off... Regardless of who the gaffer was.

You can't do anything but admire that especially when your side looks lazy and lethargic around him.

Oh and Rabonas...

I loved Pamela. And he was a bit of dirty cnut at times too. Always left a bit on someone.
Serious talent and always gave his all. And if 6 weeks out injured is the standard for a broken nail and a medium sized wart then fair enough.

I loved his shithousing as well and throwing up his hands saying "It wasn't me" while the other guy pulls a football boot out of his arse 😂

If it was down to me, I'd approach him with a month to month contract so he can train at the club and maybe get some minutes here and there while looking for a permanent move.

Still not sure whether I imagined it or not, but I have a vision in my head of Lamela walking toward the sideline during a stoppage at Stamford Bridge, looking, pointing and yelling at the technical area, and slyly, accidentally-on-purpose kicking the ball straight into Kovacic's face as he laid on the floor waiting for treatment.

And he also inadvertently stepped on Fabregas' hand. How his hand got in Erik's way, we'll never know.

I was always a fan of Erik, he had a lot of bad luck with injuries, it took him a long time to settle, but he could have been great. I don't know if he'd be any use to us if he came back, maybe as a beast substitute against teams that wanted to play rough, but despite his aggression and physicality his body doesn't hold up well and he'd probably be injured in his first game and be out for the season.
