Tottenham and Manchester United have made inquiries about Evan Ndicka

After a great season at AS Roma, with whom he is under contract until 2028, Ivorian international defender Evan Ndicka (25) has caught the eye of Premier League teams. Tottenham and Manchester United have made inquiries about the Parisian native, who trained at Auxerre. Ndicka, valued at €40 million, will take the time to consider the offers and projects presented.

Tottenham line up £20m-rated England U21 star transfer as managerless Spurs move on quickly from Ange Postecoglou

One European giant has already had a bid rejected

ENGLAND UNDER-21 star Hayden Hackney is on managerless Tottenham’s transfer radar.

The Middlesbrough midfielder, 22, looks set to leave his boyhood club after their failure to win Championship promotion.

The £20m-rated ace has already proven he can cut it against the big boys of the Premier League with stand-out cup displays against both Chelsea and Aston Villa last season.

Now he hopes to catch the eye at this month’s U21 European Championship in Slovakia.

A host of clubs have been monitoring Hackney for several months, including Portuguese giants Porto who had a measly £9m bid rejected in January.

German side Stuttgart are also keen as are Crystal Palace, but Sun Sport understands that Spurs’ scouts have also been running the rule over Hackney.

Tottenham talent spotters will also be out in Slovakia to watch the action closely and, if Hackney shines for Lee Carsley’s side, they could give the green light for the club move despite not yet appointing a replacement for axed Ange Postecoglou.

Middlesbrough are in no rush to sell their home-grown star and could even squeeze a couple more million onto his price tag depending on how he performs at the Euros.

Christian Eriksen released on a free from United and he worked with Frank on a short deal at Brentford after his heart attack. Backup squad signing maybe ?

Although he's still only 33 so he might want to carry on playing more regularly for a little while longer I suppose.

I don't know, but, to me, this reads like someone who isn't entirely convinced he'll be here next season.

Sonny is cooked and I think if there's talk of a £100m deal we have to fucking snap those Arabs arms off...!!!

I love the lad and he will always be a Spurs legend... But it's be a great move for everyone...

In the annals of Tottenham history, Son will be looked upon as a Cup winning Spurs Legend.

Having said that, I agree, I'd sell now.
Skills, speed, & maybe even confidence, have declined.

Maybe I'm naive but I don't think he'd want to go there. If we moved him on it would be to the continent IMO.

He's got to be thinking that his playing time will likely be severely limited next season under a new manager, especially since there'd also be a strong likelihood that Frank will choose a new captain as well.

I completely agree that he'll always be seen as a club legend so I think if he went and chased a payday for the last few years of his career that he'd go with the blessing of all of us.

On the other hand Frank famously has a “no dickheads” policy. So Sonny might be the kind of character he’d like to have around.

Sonny's a legend....great servant, brilliant player. But if someone...anyone comes in with silly money, we have to sell if he's willing to go. He's on £200k a week. And we're trying to get Mbeumo from Brentford ? That money being available would make a big difference to getting him, or someone of similar quality.

Apparently Bissouma is on the verge of leaving for Fenerbahce.

12 month loan with an obligation to buy for £30m + £5m in add-ons.

Personal terms supposedly sorted.

Diego Simeone has gone public with Atletico Madrid’s pursuit of Tottenham defender Cristian Romero.
The LaLiga giants, who began their Club World Cup campaign with a 4-0 defeat against Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday, are on the market to bolster their central defensive options this summer.
Speaking after the game, Simeone made it clear as to who his first-choice target it.
As reported by Sport Witness, in response to being asked about signing Romero, the Atletico boss - whilst smiling - said: “Do I want Cuti Romero? Obviously!
“He’s a great player.”
Romero currently has two years left on his contract with Spurs and recently fuelled speculation over a move to Atletico after admitting he would one day like to play in Spain.
Asked by Argentine journalist Gastón Edul on his TV show 'Los Edu' about his future, Romero said: "I’d love to play La Liga. I’d love to, honestly.
"It depends on a lot of things. We’ll see after the [English] championship is over. The truth is, I haven’t spoken to my agent yet, but I’m open to anything.
“My goal is always to grow and go to new places to continue developing."

Had never heard of him but looks a beast with some trickery in his feet & an eye for goal.

I'd take Grealish as well if he'd come. I know he usually plays out on the left but he's right footed so he could be useful cover and a decent starter for the cups as well.

I dont think he'd even consider us if we considered him as cover...he'd want a club where he starts. He's been under used by Pep for 2 seasons now. I'd start him out on the left for us. He's better than anyone we have there imo...

Seems to be one for the future at 20 but reading around some comments, he appears to be very highly rated.

When are we going to stop taking chances and punts and maybe spend money on proper PL talents that will definitely improve us like Eze, Guehi, Delap, Grealish, etc....5m here, 8m there, How about 70m on him, and 80m on him and know your getting quality, instead of hoping you might get it....possibly....if things work out....maybe.

Yeah, but we need a new venue for pre-season tournaments with Sonny potentially leaving for the Saudis after the Korean tour.
