Conservatives have seem to have forgotten their last 14 years of corruption. Starmer has done more good in 8 weeks, and I ain’t alligned to any party.

Boris will be on strictly/im a celebrity/big brother soon and everyone will forgeat what this cunt did to our country.

Now she's - Envoy for the regions and nations

Any ideas what that role actually entails?

Yes, envoys and ambassadors have been around for years. Technically a new role, but not the first

Falkland Islands and Gibraltar status non-negotiable, says Lammy

Britain's decision to relinquish control of the Chagos Islands does not signal a change in the government's position on other overseas territories, Foreign Secretary David Lammy has said.

He told the Commons the status of the Falkland Islands, Gibraltar and other British Overseas Territories are "not up for negotiation".

Well they’ve had polls on both and large percentage of the population want to remain British

They have you're right. Wouldn't surprise me though if 'support' to both The Falklands and Gibraltar became less from the UK, perhaps changing the mood there.

Yes and what worries me is that if Starmer wants to get ever closer to the EU (he’s said that he has no intention of rejoining it but I don’t believe him) then that will carry a price and part of that could be the return of Gibraltar to Spain

Gibraltar had been ceded to the UK in 1713

The EU are not going to allow the UK back in the EU. It would require all 27 countries to approve it and they are not likely too as it would just send a message to any of the other EU nations that "it's okay if you leave because we will just let you back in if it doesn't work out for you". A number if not most of the EU states would rather make an example of the UK or at the very least make it a long and arduous task to re-enter.

I voted for remain by the way.

Fair enough and I voted Leave but I didn’t want us to join the Common Market when Ted Heath took us in and have never changed my mind!

Wouldn’t most of the EU states like our contributions though?

We did pay a lot in tbf despite Maggie’s rebate 😉

Also a remainer, and while I think you are right the EU won't just let us in, they will if the price is right. Starmer has been looking for 'closer ties' for a while.

I admit that giving Gibraltar to the Spanish is a stretch, I could see something like that happen though.

I don't think they'll be that bothered just yet.

If they do insist on Gibraltar then we could always insist on Calais as a reasonable swap?

Tory party in the shite, shame.
These cunts should face criminal charges for the way they ran and then soiled government on their way out.

The fact they scorched the earth and salted it for Labour is absolutely criminal and imo tells you everything you need to know about their interest in bettering the country for anyone apart from themselves...

Fucking Tory cunts...

He was till he was offered free hospitality at the gooners, free Taylor Swift tickets (to 2 concerts),the £100K in free stuff him and his wife got from Sir Ali and loads more yet to be revealed.

They're trying to set a record for more sleeze/freebies in 14 months than the Torys in 14 years!!

It probably will be a close run thing

Bunch of wankers both parties imv but Starmer really is the pits

I hear that he’s in trouble for staying at his mate, Lord Alli’s, penthouse suite in Covent Garden during the Election
Plod investigating possible Electoral breaches as he didn’t declare it apparently!

Should be an interesting budget and Rachel has had a ginger rinse!

Better Stock up on booze!
