Let’s hope we can get the following deal

Control our borders and stay out of Shenghen
Control our finances and retain our currency
Control our laws and enforce our parliament is sovereign and can overrule
Control our trade with simple access to both EU and non-EU countries

(That’s what we currently have BTW)

And... keep freedom of movement with Control over benefits and who gets kicked out if they are jobless after 3 months , that's a deal I would vote for and doesn't break your what we have currently point!

Corbyns hand been forced to table that motion... last thing he wanted.
The devious PM set him up for that, if he had been considering not triggering it after she had made her statement he would have been ridiculed. I still don't see what it can gain because he won't win and she will just carry on kicking the can down the road. The Tory party can't ditch her for another 10 months as she has won the vote of no confidence some of them raised, so we are stuck with the nasty woman. Fixed term parliament - another great legacy from the pig poker Cameron.

I don't know about you chaps but before everyone gos full loony I've taken the precaution of ordering in a fat load of dry goods just in case. This is going to the wire and whichever way you slice it there's going to be a fuck load of pissed off people looking to cause chaos. Add in the possible Withdrawal (no deal) and things are going to get rocky!

So only 37% of the population voted Brexit ?
so when was the British popualtation only 39 m ???
If 17.4 m voted for Brexit .
In 2017 , it was estimated at 66m , so 26m would have to be removed( those under 18 , those in jail and those criminally insane , to make you figures acccurate , or did Diane Abbott make them up for you .
If roughly 32m did vote , and 15m under 18 Couldn’t vote , that would mean 19m didn’t bother to vote , so you’re adding those to the Remainers, nice bit of lateral thinking there .
That’s like saying a team hasn’t beaten another for 20 years years , factually that could be true , but they could have all been drawn .

The totally stupid, ineffectual, chocolate teapot ex-Brexit minister David Dildo Davis says that 'now the EU will have to listen', what a complete and otter wanker this bloke is. After wasting nearly two years being a total wanker and not really bothering with the negotiations because 'it would be the easiest deal ever and they need us more than. ...blah, blah, blah' he still clings on to the ridiculous fantasy that the EU will cave in at the last minute and allow us to have as many magical unicorns as we want. Anyone who thinks that the EU will allow the UK to keep all the benefits of membership without having to pay our dues or abide by the regulations of the club is so mentally fucked in the head that they need to be sectioned.

I don't think it is a joke. 1,000 plod being give 'extra training' for the possibility of a border with Ireland, 3,500 troops on standby - Brexit dividend anybody?

May said, "MPs are there to serve the people who queued up to vote in the referendum and who put their faith in politicians."

What a pox-awful woman she is, MPs are there to serve the entire country, 67 million people, not pander to the misinformed will of just 17 million., probably less now that the sensible ones realise they were conned.

When Blair won his election in 1997 he won with the largest majority , and received just over 13m votes and everyone had to endure his policies .
So 53m weren’t taken into account
Yet 17m voted for Leave . Yes it was 52-48% , but if it was done on constituencies I believe it was over 60% voted for Leave . Obviously the % swing was massively altered by mass voting to remain in London and Scotland

It would appear the Tories would rather anyone but Corbyn... going to be interesting if anyone flips. But I suspect few will. Wouldn't be surprised to see it sail through.

Alternative is bad enough no one will risk upsetting it... And realistically the Labour party don't want to be helming Brexit (wouldn't unsurprised to see some Labour MPs voting to keep her!)

Let's not kid ourselves, Labour are in exactly the same quandary as the Conservatives.

If only we had a voting system that allowed for run offs. AV would have been perfect for the referendum

We need someone brave enough to say it how it is though. I genuinely believe if someone stood up as a true voice of the people and told them straight what the options on the table were and that they would fight for them to have their say, people would suck that... referendum or not because it would unequivocally be based on the now known facts.

It could be career suicide because they'll piss off a huge proportion of the populous and some very rich and powerful agenda driven individuals one way or another.

Why no one has stood back from this and called for political reform simply boggkes my mind. The reason were in thisbposotoon is because people were disenfranchised and unrepresented. Many voted for change of any description, I don't want to call it a protest vote because that's unfair to a degree, but an element of that 100% existed.

We're getting change, but I don't think it's for the better.

100% agree that a huge amount of leave voters cast their original vote in protest against the government, helped of course by the lies of the leave campaign. Of course the EU were not responsible for the UK's austerity campaign against it's own people, the EU were not responsible for the lack of investment in the North and other deprived areas - it was exactly the opposite, a lot of investment in those areas actually came from the EU. It was not the EU's fault that people in areas where there was feck all immigration were conned into believing that the pesky EU immigrants were using up all the resources and it was their fault that you had to wait a hundred years to see your very probably EU doctor or an EU nurse at the hospital.

The problem is now that the conned generation have turned Brexit into some sort of religion, they have no idea what damage it will cause, it's their Brexit. It should be the duty of the government to explain the facts to them, they won't of course, it's not in their interests, likewise the opposition, they are both terrified of pissing off the minority of the electorate who they think still want this disaster.

I would like to see politicians prosecuted for lying, then maybe if we ever had a democratic 3rd referendum (yes it is the 3rd one, I have voted in two so add one Brexit geezers and that makes 3) only facts would be allowed. Of course there are forecast and predictions which would be allowed, but breaking electoral rules and blatant lying would result in jail time, then we could just maybe get a fair result.

I expect that the 117 MPs who voted against Mrs May in the Tory no confidence vote will stand by their principles and vote against her again toni... sorry, I can't finish that I'm laughing too much.

They voted her deal down last night, they tried to vote her out a couple of months back, but tonight them there turkeys will not be voting for Christmas.

Because no-one else in government want the responsibility. Every possible outcome will upset a large group of people.

The only way would a referendum which has at least 80% vote to remain.....

But calling this vote has its own issues

It’s a colossal clusterfuck

The Wicked Witch of Westminster grinning like she had won the WI raffle when she 'won' the confidence vote last night. She did not win, she paid for survival with her disgusting DUP cronies. If those horrible people had voted against her then her and her toxic Tory party would have been gone.

Of course they would probably have been straight back in again as the magic grandpa is unelectable, for fuck's fucking sake Corbyn step down and let Kier Starmer lead the party to victory. If only the SNP had candidates in the rest of the UK. If only there was the remotest possibility of a seismic shift in UK politics and Caroline Lucas's Green Party had a chance of making a difference, if only that lying, devious cunt Clegg had not destroyed the Lib Dems..... if only I had a zillion pounds and had my lovely long hair I had when I was young.......

The WWW is saying that she wants to talk to opposition parties but her red lines are non-negotiable, so what is the fucking point? She will only talk about her fuck awful deal and I think she actually believes a few tweaks will make it acceptable to Parliament. She is carrying on with threats and blackmail, vote for my deal or we jump off the cliff. The nasty right wing element of her party is still the tail wagging the dog. She is still saying that only the 'will' of a minority of the UK electorate matters and the 63% who did not vote for Brexit can go fuck themselves.

Following a record, catastrophic defeat in Parliament, she is ignoring the fact she does not have the support of Parliament, just like she did when she lost the last GE and had to bribe the Disgusting Unionist Pillocks to form a government. She is carrying on in exactly the same way, with the same deal and the same red lines - how the fuck can anything change if she won't?

What a fucking awful system of government we have. 63% of the electorate can be thrown under the bus to appease the xenophobes, half the country have no representation in Parliament when FPTP means that sticking a rosette on a pig in a safe Tory seat or a flat cap on a slug in a Labour stronghold results in a 'fuck you' situation if your bloke does not get in. Our representatives do not represent us, they represent their party. The government can just carry on following a massive defeat on their main policy. MPs are allowed to make huge sums of money on the side running investment companies that advise clients to back against the UK and fuck over the pound - without being jailed for treason. Howling toffs in the HoC behaving like the drunk over-privileged wankers they are, the absolute nonsense of MPs needing to wander around the lobbies to vote, wasting so much valuable time and forcing sick MPs to be pushed around in wheelchairs - do they realise it's the fucking 21st century? The system is past it's use by date, time for a new one.

A new order has been made under section 56(1B) of the Reserve Forces Act 1996 to enable reservists to be called into permanent service in support of the HMG contingency planning for a no deal EU exit scenario.

Martial Law in the UK another Brexit dividend.

Sometimes I have a look at the rabid right wing media to see what they are feeding their lunatic fringe xenophobic readership.

Here's a headline from the Express:

'Brits will start a WAR!' Germans demand 'crazy' Britain 'PAY a lot' for Brexit vote'

Wow, thats serious.. Germans demand? So that must mean the government or Angela Merkel right? No, actaulally the source is a man. 'Speaking to DW English, a man said'. How in the name of Satan's hairy nut sack can anybody allow their beliefs to be influenced by these so-called news organisations.

Back in the real world this from Reuters:

BERLIN (Reuters) - Germany will do all it can in the coming days to ensure that a deal is in place for when Britain leaves the European Union, Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said on Thursday.

Lucky they didn't ask 'a man'. The answer would have been very different.
