Few stories this morning that we’re looking at other options for a keeper since Brentford aren’t budging on £40m for Raye.
Holy suffering fuck. Unbelievable!!! Why doesn't he just get the Leyton Orient keeper ? He's cheap. In London. And kept a lot of clean sheets last season!!
I despair sometimes, I really do.

Son apparently shut down the rumors linking him to Saudi Arabia.

Aside from Son wanting to go or not, I would think that we shouldn't accept anything less than 100M. He's still very much in his prime & should get his form back after his injury. Saudi clubs are hoovering up much older players for that amount (particularly CFC players).

"I have many things to do in the Premier League," he said.

"Money doesn't matter to me now, and the pride of playing football, to play in my favourite league is important."

This is why Sonny is a legend! What a guy. Can't wait until he finds his mojo again this season!

Leicester asking for £50m for Maddison despite being relegated and him also only having one year left on his contract.

So that’s another one off the list.

Just read quite a fair comment..

“Paratici might have been shady as shit but he had a huge amount of contacts and this time last year he had 5 signings through the door ready for pre-season.

This year, Levy, who nobody wants to deal with, is in charge and there’s been zero incomings or outgoings”

He's about to be 31 years old. He's old for a premier league winger.

I would hold out for more (£75m) but ultimately sell him.

He's on the wrong side of 30 but still in his prime. 100M

So Spurs have a verbal agreement with Empoli to sign Vicario for 17.2M.
I guess this is when Levy begins moving the goalposts. ;)

Vicario is a phenomenal shot stopper (great reactions) but not sure how good he is with the ball at his feet.

If its verbal...Levy will contrive to fuck this up.

Do we actually want him? Isn't it more important to have an extra passer?

Not condoning this sort of dipshittery, but I am hoping this is just to apply pressure on Brentford to bend over before we move on.

If we do sign the other keeper then I kind of hope Raya fucks off from Brentford on a free next year.

Saying that, the feeling does actually seem relatively positive regarding him because he's got a similar profile to Raya and a lot of people are suggesting that it's this 'data driven approach' that we're supposed to be employing.

Empoli was ranked 11th for goals against.
They're a small side punching above their weight.
The vast majority they conceded were from inside the 6 yard box or sprinkled with a few worldies.
Vicario has quick reactions & you can fault for less than a handful. Their defending in the area was shocking.

Despite Vicario anticipating where a shot may go & thus being a phenomenal shot stopper, one concern I have about Vicario is that a number of balls that he parry's away end up in dangerous areas.

He’s a very good GK.

From what I’ve seen of Empoli (pretty much limited to Serie A weekly version of MOTD most weekends) they play good football, building from the back. More so than Raya did for Brentford who were far more direct.
