Green light by Tottenham. Bryan Gil can leave the club, on loan.

I don't understand our club. To my untrained eye, it looked like Gil had a great game against Palace and Portsmouth as an attacking right sided midfield player, whereas in those games and more recently the defence looked like a rabbit in headlights, in fact Dier and Davies were both second choice behind Toby and Jan and now they're first choice........

So based on that and the fact that we've shipped a considerable amount of goals who do we buy? An attacking right sided midfield player. I mean sorry, but in the words of the Dele song, I just don't understand.........

LEVY OUT

ps the post above was mentioned whilst I was typing ha ah

Decisive meeting by Pedro Porro is about to take place in a moment. Tottenham is "represented" by intermediaries and agents of the player himself - no one from the English club is in Lisbon. Sporting warned yesterday that it still wants the 45 M€. Seeing the result of today's conversation...

It’s been said that Milan Skriniar has been made available for just £17m.

You’d think we’d be all over that one but you know Levy would make an opening offer of around £10m.

He’s supposedly talking to PSG about a move but if we don’t at least make a play for him then I really do despair.

I always get really excited when we bid on someone I’ve actually heard of (Djed Spence for example.) That almost never happens any more.

100% and only knew who he was because I'd caught glimpses of him tearing up teams in the FA Cup, on MOTD.

I struggle to get excited by strangers... unless... well... ya know...

I suspect if Porro signs it’ll all but confirm that Conte will stay until the end of the season.

Letting Bergwijn go and bringing in Danjuma is clearly a Levy “special” as well.

Pedro Porro: one of Sporting's demands, in addition to the 45 M€, is the full-back's presence in the League Cup final (against FC Porto). Tottenham accepted the condition. Negotiations are well underway between the two clubs. Player already gave the "yes" to Spurs

Roma wanted £31m for Zaniolo.. we offered £17.5m apparently .. Bournemouth offered £26m plus a 10% sell on fee.

I've now read that Milan has pulled out of negotiations after Bournemouth's superior offer. Some outlets suggest that Roma has or is willing to accept Bournemouth's offer. So if we are seriously considering backing Conte, surely we'll swoop in now that we know what it takes to get Zaniolo.

Or, we simply accept we are a Mickey Mouse club.

If our fee is true, & Zaniolo is one that Conte seriously wants, that's shocking.
A relegation side shows more intent.
It'll always take me back to the Grelish debacle where Levy was supposed to have lowballed Villa with an offer of around £15m after they went down.

I've always said that if Messi became available for £20 quid, Levy would have offered £10 with add-ons.

#Milan pulls itself out in the race for #Zaniolo. After the 30m plus bonus offer presented by #Bournemouth and the 24 hours requested to understand the feasibility of the operation expired, #Milan informed #Roma that they cannot match the English offer. @SkySport

Sorry, but this first part suggests rhyme and/or reason on the part of the club's decision-makers.
