At least both bids were accepted by Genoa. Usually Levy dicks around to save a few quid, which leads us to miss targets. Small changes with Munn in charge now.Second time in months that Levy has been screwed by Bayern. Man is a genius though.
Bayern made the bid when the details of the Spurs bid has leaked/announced. If we made the bid 9 days ago, Bayern would have matched it then.Someone made a point that it took us nine days to submit a formal bid for our top target and it was below Genoa’s initial valuation but topped up, as usual, with add-ons.
It took Bayern exactly one day to submit a bid which met Genoa’s valuation - straight cash, no add-ons.

It's a difficult one because of how messy transfers can get. I remember all too well the whole debacle surrounding Emmanuel Petit all those years ago so I suppose even with contracts exchanged, the player can still ask for time to consider his options. My question is this: if we had earlier agreed on personal terms with Dragosin & then Genoa accepted our written offer, to me it then stands to reason that both aspects of the deal are fulfilled & he's ours. Am I missing something? Or was Dragosin's personal terms not in writing?
Is it really the club's fault if the bloke's agent has stuck his oar in and fucked things up ?Eric Dier & Emerson fucking Royal for another 6 fucking months then...!
Massive balls up by everyone if we get to Friday without getting a quality CB into the club.
Even though we are on the ascendancy with Ange & the recruiting team, Bayern is still a massive draw to the rest of the world.Eric Dier & Emerson fucking Royal for another 6 fucking months then...!

No, but surely experienced football executives ought to know better than to put all their eggs in one basket. Time will tell if that's what we've done I guess. Is it really the club's fault if the bloke's agent has stuck his oar in and fucked things up ?
